Privacy Policy
HabitCards is designed to be useful without asking for your life story. We aim for a calm, privacy-first experience.
Effective date: January 20, 2026
In Plain English
HabitCards currently does not store user data on our servers. Your stacks, cards, and history live on your device.
If you choose to use on-device generation features (for example, an LLM-based helper on supported devices), your prompts are intended to be processed locally on your device.
Information We Collect
At this time, HabitCards does not run user accounts and does not collect or store personal information on HabitCards servers.
- App data: stacks, cards, and completion history are stored locally on your device.
- Optional personalization: you may enter optional notes (for example, a child label or parenting notes) to help you organize or generate cards. This is stored locally.
Information We Do Not Store (Yet)
- We do not store your stacks, cards, or history on HabitCards servers.
- We do not maintain user accounts.
- We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
Network Requests
The app may make network requests for basic app functionality and development operations (for example, fetching static content or health checks). These requests are not intended to include personal information.
Children’s Privacy
HabitCards is a tool for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we add features that store data remotely (for example, cloud sync or accounts), we’ll update this policy and make the changes clear.
